Far from conflict, among my friends, in my home?
Forced from home, out in the cold, down on the ground.
Peace on earth? Goodwill to all? How is it done?
With spies and guns, drones and bombs, fear and hate?
Done by One who with wise love gives us His Son.

When battle ends in defeat, or even victory?
